Skin is the largest organ of the body, and it is subjected to a number of problems throughout childhood and adulthood. Why Acne Occurs<\/h2>\n

Acne frequently occurs during adolescence<\/a> because of increased hormonal activity during these years. This increase of hormones in the body cause sebaceous glands that are located in the skin to produce more oil than is normally needed. The result is excess oil that clogs skin pores, which makes a perfect environment for certain types of bacteria to grow.<\/p>\n

Pores become larger, inflamed and unsightly. This excess production of oil continues regardless of how much you try to keep the skin clean.<\/p>\n
